Overall had excellent stay for 1 night. I enjoyed the room with a view. And the facilities were nice. The hotel was in an excellent location near a great restaurant about 3 minutes walk, the beautiful Lake Taupo and the the lake. I found there a great selection of restaurants to eat, like Lake Bistro that is only 5 minutes' walk away.

I truly enjoyed the neat and appropriate rooms with amazing views. The location was marvellous, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Great Lake Taupo. The bar was superb with pleasant and welcoming staff.

Tbh, had a pleasant stay on my road trip south. Really enjoyed my rooms with great private bathroom. It was very handy to have a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a fridge. The location was handy, at a short distance from Lake Taupo.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station, allowed us to use the laundry facilities without charge, short ten minute walk into town. Lovely views of the lake from big windows in the dining room.
